Prolific, enigmatic & exuberant, an Antarctigo Vespucci LP wasn't enough for Jeff Rosenstock in 2015, also dishing up a solo record in 'We Cool?'. Displaying a diverse - if not necessarily focused - brand of indie power-pop/rock, Weezer & Ben Folds are the best style comparisons. Lyrical nuggets abound, as the 32 year old discusses maturing & regrets with brutal honesty & clever wordplay. Co-produced with Jack Shirley, the D.I.Y. aesthetic is admirable, if not always satisfying... But at least Rosenstock is still able to bring some anthemic qualities to the party. Recommended Tracks: You in Weird Cities, Nausea, Get Old Forever & Polar Bear or Africa.
