gotcha. I'm definitely not a folk purist because i typically really enjoy the mixture of folk with other genres. Doesn't mean i don't dig traditional folk too though.

Have you listened to Oado yet, JT? Since you like Vali and not Musk Ox, I'm really curious to hear your opinion on it. It's more atmospheric and straightforward than Woodfall so I think you'd dig.
Anything neofolk related generally isn't a very high priority for me but if you really think I'd like it then I'll probably check it out at some point.

Ah ok then, for some reason I thought you loved neofolk. You don't have to check them out but they're a pretty unique band, and if you ever find yourself in need of some instrumental folk you should definitely give their album Life Era a spin.
