Okay, after a few more listens, this is just as brilliant as all their other work... it took some time to grow on me.

I can't separate any of their last three, got them all on a 4. Hospice has the theme and some amazing moments but it's not something you can play without getting in a particular mood, Burst Apart is the most eclectic but not everything works, and then this one is the most consistent in quality...and tone, sometimes to a bit of a fault. All great albums though.

Undersea is pretty good but the keyboards always sound so presetty on that release. This sounds much more classy

Hospice is their weakest release for me ):
This is their best IMO but Burst Apart is very close and Undersea is phenomenal too

his solo record leaked. not finding it too interesting, his voice is irritating without interesting instrumentation surrounding it (quite minimal backing)
also agree with above comment. this is my favorite by them, can't stand hospice

Just heard his solo album, it's very soothing but also quite uneventful. His voice sounds good but the constant repetition of lyrics get old fast. It seems like the instrumentation is merely there to support his voice. Based on the first listen it's a comfy 3.2~

That one song he released first is sooo long. I mean this band is hardly uptempo but goddamn, I cant imagine his solo stuff being more than just background music to me
