It is way closer to Traced in Air, pretty much has none of the qualities of Focus, so I guess it makes sense that you hate it. Moon Heart Sun Head is cool though if you have any desire to revisit anything from this.
I listened to this again today and my rating is probably high for how much I enjoy it now, but I really listened to this a lot the year it came out.

I mean Traced isn't terrible, it just bores the shit out of me. I loved it for a long time and it just grew off me.
This on the other hand has sucked since the moment it was released.

Haha I know it got some serious backlash. I don't think there can be an argument against Focus being the best thing these guys ever have or ever will do and that came out when I was, like, 5.
I get the love for Traced in Air- I mean I gave it the same rating as Focus- but they're hardly comparable.
