i just listened to it. granted i've only heard it once, but it was ridiculously boring. so many tracks are so hazy i can barely tell wth is going on. i thought burial society, cropsey, and dan and time were all excellent though. nothing comes even remotely close to touching bloodhail or earthmover imo

you have to realize that this is a pop album and deathconsciousness is a queef album
|
| |
this is not a pop album, and deathconsciousness is an amazing concept album
|
| |
this really is a pop album though all the songs are super catchy and immediate and straight forward

wtf where are the choruses?
|
| |
it's not really catchy at all... maybe songs like cropsey are sort of catchy, but other than that a lot of this is just a blanket of white noise.
|
| |
i like noise
|
| |
i found the second song, unholy life, emptiness to be excruciatingly boring. if everything was as good as cropsey this would be a 5

man there must be something wrong with you :|

Cropsey is sad very sad makes me sad

streamlined is a great adjective i will agree with that
|
| |
cropsey is your least favourite? gtfo... HOW!?
|
| |
and yeah this is basically a pop album, like joy division shoegaze or something idk

cropsey's like the most straightforward shoegaze track on here
i dig hard

This is definitely poppier, more streamlined and more refined than Dethconciousness. Just some of the reasons why this is considerably better.

yeah this album is one I can jam at any time while I have to be in a certain mood to jam Deathconsciousness
|
| |
you guys are insane if you think this is better than deathconsciousness, or even poppier for that matter... this is a wall of noise a lot of the time. deathconsciousness had vocals hidden beneath the tracks as well, but there were so many melodies and hooks (like the chorus in bloodhail).
snox: we agree on a lot of albums but totally disagree with favourite tracks i've noticed. the first track is really forgettable for me. there is no way in hell cropsey is less enjoyable than unholy life. that song is dogshit
|
| |
wouldnt say its better than Deathconsciousness but i dig the production on this way more.
|
| |
definitely not as good as death, but still
