to that note, one of my issues with a lot of melodeath is that it too often goes for the high pitched vocals, when one of the my favorite elements of good melodeath is the contrast between growled vocals and the melodic/treble-heavy instrumentals (see intestine baalism, garden of shadows, etc.)
