Everything is so much punchier and groovier. Or at least sounds that way to me.



Also, your avatar reminds me of that part in Dead Space 2 when you have to poke Isaac in the eye with a needle

yeah but those dfh samples get rid of like 90 percent of those awesome ghost notes and accents that make the drumming on the original so good. this mix is way more mechanical and straight up the middle, which is fine i guess if you prefer that, but im here for funky drumming and bouncy riffs.

Hmm, I suppose I should give the original a listen again to put in perspective what you're talking about. Tomas's drumming has always been inhuman. The guy can practically play two songs at once. No idea how he works with the band's odd time signatures either, its astounding.
