Not liking the breakdown so much, but everything else, especially the synths, are great

It's more than just the first few pages of comments that suck. People take this band so seriously and think the band themselves are so serious. And I'm just like -_-

The lyrics are pretty serious. If anything, I don't know how can say that they're not serious

possibly legitimate and relevant social commentary =/= serious

even when used as a main part to build a song.

I don't consider their lyrics as a joke though. If I'm looking at it socially then I would agree with some of what they say, but a lot of it comes off as angst ridden youth, but that is in addition to the lyrics by way of delivery, not pertaining to the actual lyrics. You can be mad without knowing why and still be right.

And when I said serious I also meant users here who are stick up your ass serious. Enter Shikari have a message yes, but they have made just as many party songs as political songs so why are we so demonstratively critical of them as if the band thinks so highly of themselves? They've been about fun for a large part.

If you watch making of this album, you'd probably think otherwise about them not taking this seriously

Their political lyrics are serious yeah but its delivered with a sorta tongue in cheek attitude a lot. They take its seriousoly but just incorporate it with their fun side i guess
