Unless Tue Madsen worked on them, they're probably just your loud remasters, although their albums have always been loud. Kinda wish they didn't only have re-recorded tracks from their 2003-2005 era, but ah well, I didn't vote at all.

More details there, btw.

Except the very review you're commenting on, lol.

Irony haha.
I caved and pre-ordered it, hope it doesn't burn me. Also hoping the documentary has English subs.

Slim chances for the latter, though it'd be nice. The first press bonuses really seem the most appealing aspects of this release.

I'm hoping they do it, given the significance of the release. Plus Tour13 Ghoul did it for their documentary on that, so it proves it's not completely out of the question.

Yes, but Tour13 Ghoul insisted a lot on the American section of the tour and even though you could only import it from Japan, it definitely had a worldwide audience in mind, just like AQA world tour sets with the English narrator. Not sure how they view this release.

Lol touché didn’t even read this review yet

Like I say, given the context of this release, I'd like to think they have everyone in mind. We'll see I guess.
And the English narrator on AQA was almost pointless lol.

I liked him, outside the occasional Latin mispronunciations.

Honestly Darkside, haven't come across anyone that loved these guys off the bat. Just keep jamming and it'll unfold. This band make albums best described as an onion: layer after layer.

haha fair enough, Evo. I just felt he added little to what you could have got from just watching what's happening on screen.
Edit: been about 5 years since I've watched it though, might have to dig it out again.

If you count reading a comment on Sputnik as "coming across someone", you can be sure that you have now come across someone who did love them instantly. But obviously there is a lot to explore on here and it all unfolds with time. It admittedly took a while for them to become one of my four favorite bands/projects - but even then, I expected them to grow into something like that pretty early.

"Where's my goddamn new LP?"
They're in the studio, it's being recorded.
"I dunno, not clicking yet"
I gave this a 2.5 on first listen if that means anything lol
I'm not buying Vestige, the new Buck Tick FTO ate all my money and is much more important. However I'll probably pre order the new album, plenty of more stuff to get.

This was my first DEG album and I loved it instantly, it just took me some years to bump it to a 5. I've figured over time I'm one quite special case, haha.
