Well seeing as how the bass wobble is a key aesthetic to the genre I think you're truly unfamiliar with the genre itself. Whether it's used sparingly or is the focal point of the song, it's still dubstep

That's an element, not an aesthetic. I don't feel like arguing semantics though -- not saying you're

cluelessly wrong, but I definitely disagree. Genres aren't just specific characteristics without

other emotional and thematic attachments. If that were the case, then he's definitely dubstep.



That isn't the case, though. He's electro-house.
