Yeah, their hard rock/metal-oriented songs are the biggest reason I'm a Nickelback apologist. If they ever put out a Queen Rocks-style compilation where it's nothing but their heaviest songs, I'll pick that shit up in a heartbeat. Plus, I feel like Kroeger the Ogre's brash, raspy voice is much more well-suited to outright bangers than it is for their snoozer ballads

it's a sign of the times when you hear a nickelback song on the radio or wherever and it's just genuinely refreshing compared to popular stuff now lol. bring back riffs in pop rock!
