Nitroadict "The 90's did see music reach it's height of commercialization" that was because music of all genres of the 90's were quality for the most part, and i have to disagree with "Every decade has it's 'best music' if you look hard enough" music of the 80's & 00's is pure sh*t it's a perfect example with whats wrong with the music of today and the industry of course except a very few exceptions.

Wouldn't the exceptions you allude too sort of back-up my statement that if you look hard enough,
you can find some music you can like, in any given decade, even if you generally hate said decades
in question?

Dude, when someone says "all music in the 80's was shit," do they really mean ALL music? Of course not, there's always going to be a few exceptions.
