I do not understand the Skeletons love. I've heard that song like 15 times over the years and it does absolutely nothing for me.

For the most part I thought it was just fun, then the outro happened and I was sold on it. Might be my third favourite song here behind Far and The Broken.

I am still bamboozled by the complete disappearance of Chris Pennie.

These posts are crazy... On the reddit page of someone asking what happened to chris pennie:

I think the problem is he is very unique. He was great for Dillinger but he massively overplayed the album he did with C&C. That is sort of his signature style and really hard to adapt to more casual stuff. He is definitely insanely talented but I feel like he has to much going on for just any regular band to pick him up.

I agree 100% with over-playing. YOFTBR is a fantastic album but I always thought it didn’t need as much drums. And in the Neverender DVD you can tell Chris rushes like crazy on every song.

The only song he overplays on is Guns Of Summer, which is so uncharacteristically Coheed that I just glaze over when listening to it.

This record still hits on The Broken, Juggernaut, Far, Shattered Symphony, World of Lines, Made Out Of Nothing and Pearl- but it doesn't touch the earlier classics.

Far is honestly up there though, the first time I heard it in the dark while headphone listening in 2010 it made me gasp. I needed that lush Claudio vocal layering that was largely absent from this thing. Hipster as hell but I much prefer this album on vinyl.
