I need to make the time to give Lamb another proper listen sometime soon.
It never properly grew on me as a whole like the other PG-era records. Even then, it's still a solid 4.5, but I've not listened to it as much as this, SEBP and NC.

@Friday; But SEbtP has only 3 minutes more than Foxtrot.
@beefshoes. you need to listen to the Lamb from A to Z for a better experience. It reads like a good book.

Not that much in Prog music yet, but I should put more time in listening to some since i'm Jethro's son :D.

He's more fond of metal, but he demonstrates interest for prog rock. Slowly but surely.

@J42/BD - well that settles it!
I guess I can get four classic recs to get you started.
David Bowie - "Heroes" (1977, art rock) (sample: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBuwC4VJi50)
Iggy Pop - Lust for Life (1977, art rock/post-punk) (sample: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWSEM295hGo)
Talking Heads - Fear of Music (1979, post-punk) (sample: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EB9W8St1pDc)
Modest Mouse - The Moon and Antartica (2000, alt. rock/lo-fi) (sample: https://www.youtube.com/watch?

don't know if you'd like these, but these albums are some of the all-time greatest in their genres.
And considering your old man is Jethro, I'm sure he probably has at least one of the first three on vinyl.
So you got considerable access to tons of classic artists.
