SG and AIC are by far better bands than Nirvana. I'd say they're each about twice as good. That's not a knock on Nirvana in any way however. That band is just overpraised.

No one ever agrees on my ranking. All four are excellent bands though.

In Utero is probably my 2nd favorite grunge release overall (after Down on the Upside shhhh), but Nirvana's other releases kind of pale in comparison to most of Soundgarden and AiC's work. Then again I like basically everything 80s and 90s from all 3 bands soooo yay grunge.

It's because Eddie Vedder's vocals are terrible and they're the most stagnant.

@deathschool this and superunknown. haven't heard either of them more than once but i remember i liked this a bit more than superunknown, theyre both great though
