Oh, I thought you meant it would work in like standard or weird open-chord tunings. Which wouldn't make sense because the intervals would change.

Idk how long ago you would consider the "new wave" to have started, but srsly Envy, Ampere, Funeral Diner, Mesa Verde, Daitro, City of Caterpillar...

If those bands don't reach the potential of the genre, I will be very excited to see where it goes from here.
