i might habe overdone listening to this back in the day. Most of the track here are still good its just an overarching trite feeling about all of it.

Some vocal lines can be annoying 2

Just now diving into RA's discography and I don''t really understand why this one's average is so much lower than the first four's

It's pretty obvious why it is. The middle of the album is a lot more filler and hardcore fans were disappointed because this album was more tame compared to the first four.

Idk to me it just sounds like The Sufferer and the Witness pt.2.

Nah, Sufferer is definitely a lot rawer than this one. This has more in common with the records that followed.

I've always been a fan of Whereabouts Unknown, Collapse, and Kotov Syndrome. This was my first RA album so it will always have a soft spot in my heart, even if I think some of the songs on this album blow (I'm looking at you Audience of One). Some songs are just lacking in aggression and it gives the entire album a bad wrap.

really? first three tracks is easily the most boring point of this for me. And The Dirt Whispered is the best song not on their big 3

collapse feels like a proper RA opener. punky, cool guitar work going on, some screams for good measure. long forgotten sons is pretty weak yea and i'll always have a soft spot for re-education cause of rock band. dirt is fine but it's by that point that the songs start sounding the same to me

as for best song not on their big 3, that's a tough one. i could be generic and say savior but idk. whereabouts unknown, eco-terrorist, but tonight we dance & grammatizator are all up there
