lol Fortress and Shrouded Divine give this a Roman Helmet...Opeth fanboys need to calm down a bit about this album...with Blackwater a feel i just don't get it yet...with this there isn't anything more to get...

I am an Opeth fanboy, but this definitely isn't the best release this year. Mind you, its in my top 5, but I enjoy Sagas and Gangrene a lot more. This is about on Par with Shrouded Divine.

yum thanks for the reminder i gots to get that Mirrorthrone joint...and apparently i gotta check out sagas now as well...i feel shrouded divine is just stronger and if it was given a fair chance rather then being looked at as an Opeth-clone (which though having aesthetic similarities really is a much different band/album) it would be gettin more credit...

No Opeth =/= In Mourning. I have found way too many comparisons between the bands to really give In Mourning the credit that alot of people 'think' they deserve. I have given it many fair chances and I'm not as big of an Opeth fanboy as I make myself out to be. Generally, I find people who dont mind Opeth, love In Mourning; and vice versa. Just an observation.
