My favorite moment would probably be half way through Vague Illusions.

I'm getting there! I'm currently having trouble deciding whether or not I prefer Highway...Dim and Dark Man are still my favourite CoL songs, but this has some possible contenders

Johnny's talking to himself again....

I prefer Highway slightly more but their both masterpieces. I can't see any flaws in both albums personally. I think as a whole I prefer this just a little more but individual songs like Finland, Dim and Dark Man get my vote. You can't go wrong with either!

I like this more cuz of the leftover darkness from Beyond, the added prog influence and overall

ethereal theme emanating throughout, and it never drags even in casual listens whereas I find

Thirtyfour and Dark City do.

All the songs are heavy in their own ways, whereas Highway has those two reprieves which are great but

I always enjoyed how Beyond and this never faltered without any need for those.

"huh"

Let me rephrase, I perfect Highway more because it has my favorite CoL songs but as a whole, I think this album flows better. I Think Dead Man actually sounded better live though

I'm glad that Somewhere isn't just Salvation 2.0 though. The ethereal themes in this are executed flawlessly
