revisiting for the first time in a while and im sorry bros this rlly just has not aged all that well compared to the rest of their discog. i dont even think pepper is all that consistent either but this has even more fluff than that somehow, particularly courtesy of mccartney (wow who woulda thought what a shocker)

the best 13 or so songs they recorded in 1967 would make an outstanding album thats as good as everyone says but all the best songs from that time are fairly scattered across all their releases that year

based track

this has exactly two duds, and one of them's the novelty intro. by Beatles standards, that's extraordinary ngl

yea there isnt a single beatles album without any skips. obv i dont agree in this instance but my fav beatles album (revolver) only has two skips for me which shouldnt feel like as impressive a feat as it does

I kinda like the first song

mystery trip...

every beatles album has skips except for...I just always want to listen to every song on the white album even though some of them are probably worse than songs on other albums that I skip

idk I'm tied to the album format more than most people, especially my family members, I mean I've reviewed 129 of em, but I definitely wouldnt claim to listen front to back to an album every time I want to hear it...and either way it's just a way of saying subpar songs but also cmon

well i dont really "skip" as much as i use the vault of non album songs provided to us by past masters to forge together my own ideal beatle tracklists since the full album context is always the vibe but jamming an album where every other song is fluffy nothingness is not

actually yeah I probably did misspeak. I really more meant "there are probably worse songs on other albums that I'd call skips". I guess I dont skip songs on beatles albums much
