The thing is that "plunderphonics" doesn't actually really describe the sound of the record. The term is applied to both this and DJ Shadow's Entroducing..... but the two sound completely different from one another.

It's not really the sound it's the fact that they're both made solely of samples. It's a creation artform not a musical style, really.

honestly, this doesn't belong in one specific genre. they have taken literally thousands of samples to yield something entirely new. it covers a large array of genres
