Yeah Green, check MoR first. The 3 that follow it are often controversial on Sabbath discussions.

Lolno. Because people argue over which of those 3 is the weakest. Most people think one of those is the weakest of the first 6.

Some people prefer Vol. 4, others (myself included) love Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, and plenty more go with Sabotage as the unsung hero.

Bottom line: MoR is your safest bet. After that, I suggest you go on chrono. You'll figure out for yourself where you stand.

Also, MoR is easily one of their best albums.

MoR is their third weakest from the first six for me, and is still a 4.5 lol

^^Proof that MoR is a safe rec.

Green shall have to decide for himself. I'm on the MoR side, but the Par side has a strong case.

Meat prefers the debut, while Notrap prefers SBS, and Ars prefers Sabotage.

So that speaks volumes of this band's greatness.

But then Solitude appears, and you realize that the riffs aren't that important
