I can't believe I spelt yonge wrong.

During lunch time I walk over to the HMV superstore 2-3 a week but I had to stop visiting it so much cause I kept blowing all my money.

Yes Josh D! Yonge in Canadian means worlds greatest country to live in!

I'm picking this album up tomorrow. I relistened to this album last night. I'm so torn by the vocals right now, still undecided about how I feel with his vocal range. The growls are great though! This Message Edited On 01.30.08

Torn about his range? You mean his tone? I dont know how you cant be impressed by his range and versatility, but I can easily understand being weary of his tone.

I should really read over my comments before I submit them hahaha. Thats exactly what I meant. His range is incredible, but the tone...................undecided! I will get back to you on this subject tomorrow Coke after a few good listens.

Too bad I am a 17 year old with no money I guess I need to obtain this, by not listening on youtube, through...um...other means.

He is great, ok?

I have no idea why I don't instantly like his tone of voice like everyone else around here does. This band is certainly not made to cater to everyones tastes. The musicianship is stellar I might add. Some of the techniques the guitarists pull off impress me alot and I've been guitaring for quite some time now.

Album rules about 90% of the time. It can get slightly repetitive at points but overall pretty great. The Dissentience is my fave so far.

YESSS it came today!! And so did Purgatory Afterglow and Carriers of Dust. Today is a great day for music...

And I would say this is better than Kezia, marginally. I don't think any song on here is as awesome as Divine Suicide or Turn Soonest, but it's more solid as a whole.

Oh, and I love the keyboard solo btw, it may be my favorite part of Limb From Limb honestly.

Wretch is my personal favorite so far.

I can see myself raising this to a 5 eventually, still need a few songs to grow on me though (mostly the final two tracks, which were my least favorite.)

I like Sequoia Throne more than the last two songs, that's probably it.

I don't think Spoils gets enough recognition. I'm really digging that one. Not in my top 5 for the album even, but i almost never hear it get mentioned.

I really like the second half but it starts off really not good.

The guy at my local store is supposed to call me when they get their copy in and it still hasn't happened. I wait anxiously by the phone like a giddy school girl waiting for her boyfriend to call so we can not say anything for 45 minutes. This Message Edited On 01.30.08

I love how he sings it. It's basically a glorified NOFX song.

The part in Sequoia Throne where Rody sings "We are, we are, we are!" is my favourite part of that song.

Just fyi.

Great CD, some fantastic vocal work. This is quite a few steps up from Kezia. My favorite parts of all this are the 2:21 part in Wretch, the whole "In Silence..." section...that's damn catchy. I think the last screamed part in Bone Marrow is awesome as well "If a mortal stands before us..." cool stuff. I also think that Spoils is one of the better songs on this, really infectious. I kind of killed Bloodmeat by listening to it WAY too much before this whole album dropped.

Great review Tyler.

Yea, I'm sure in time I'll start to listen to it again. It's still a great song, but I just need a break from it. When people started getting promo copies and this still didn't leak, watching that video over and over again was the only way to stop myself from taking up a cocaine addiction.
