Think the most I paid (yet) was 60USD for the Agalloch/Nest split. Considering how short that one is that's pretty pricey per minute haha

Paid about 140 pounds for the passage d'hiver and lunar aurora split. I've paid some decent amounts for stuff before but that is the most expensive record i've bought

Geez man that's a looooot of cash
Do you play records that you buy for that much or do you mostly just sit them in a bulletproof casing away from direct sunlight?

Hell no dude, they're bought to be played. I digitise everything i have so the wear and tear isn't as bad (also because i'm out of the house alot) but other than being put on a shelf in a dustcover they're jammed thoroughly.

| |
i've spent the most on a corrupted record, but have more valuable records that i bought for less in the past

'Grand Belial's Key - Judeobeast Assassination'
I will totally check that out. I remember the name from an earlier rec, because it might be the sweetest band name of all time.

"After "Dead as Dreams" was recorded, a lot of tales sprung up about the possible ways it could be distributed, e.g. only a few copies of the album were buried in the ground and maps were given to fans who wanted to find them."
If only this would be true, it could solve your problems guys hehe! Also, album rules, brings the grim so hard

Maybe if I play this really loud it'll start to snow. One can hope, it was like 40 out today ;_;

Fuck this weather it's like 58 degrees where I am. Warm is nice but it's not right in December when it can enhance my BM experience.

Oh please. We still have high 80s

am I the only one who doesn't think this is wintry? I mean, the first song is "...and place fire therein" and the last song is "...in the sun."

Don't need winter for BM but it feels more fitting.

It's not winter-oriented at all but those riff are just so damn cold.
It's the kind of bm that makes me think of an emotional void; an emptiness devoid of warmth.
