It's definitely not bad, and it's got some of my favorite MM songs on there (Teeth Like God's Shoeshine, Trailer Trash, etc.). But it's also got some not so great songs on it as well (Shit Luck being my LEAST favorite MM song). So hopefully, on second listen, those not so great tunes will become great tunes.

I guess the main problem I have with the album is the deliberate sloppiness and abrasiveness of it all. Which I'm usually fine with, but 70+ minutes is a lot to ask.

this isnt that sloppy or abrasive all the time... trailer trash, truckers atlas, out of gas, heart cooks brain and polar atlas are all pretty light and tight

I'd probably like this album a lot better if I listened to it a little at a time. I did that with Cap'n Jazz's "Analphabetapolothology (or whatever it's called)", which is 95 minutes and really lo-fi, and I ended up absolutely loving it. So, I guess I'll try doing that with LCW.

its a funny little album. It's always either too long for me to get through or it just grabs me by the throat.

Yeah, this definitely grows on you. I only liked a couple songs, first time I listened to this.
