Hmmmm, disagree there, they pulled off their harsher sound incredibly well, some of their early gnarly ones are among my faves. Spangle Maker is a good example. But if you're more into their dreamy sound then it's an easy pick between this and Victorialand/HoLV. I can see that. I personally love both of their sides, and this marries them seamlessly.

Lorelei is 🥰

“Lorelei” kind of reminds me of “carolyn’s fingers”: verses are structured around a delish Liz vocal line, and then the chorus is kinda just that line cut in half. Both great but think there’s a more perfect version of both that complicates it just a lil. Then again c’est la cocteautwins
