this is one of those Classic albums that I pretty much entirely get not liking tbh
"little fury things" is one of my favorite indie/noise/whatever just straight up rock songs ever though. lots of bands out there should write a check to djr for "sludgefeast"

i feel like a lot of newer indie fans would hate this cause its actually noisy, heavy, and has a ton of influence leftover from 60s/70s proto punk and garage shit, hardcore, metal like st vitus, bands like zep and sabbath. far cry from like, the decemberists and all that
