Always annoyed by the fanfare sounds, but I love everything else about it!

Indeed. Miles was one of the coolest but this thing sounds like a Walt Disney film in parts. Expect Jiminey Cricket to pipe up during Concierto every time I listen to the thing.

Miles crosses tons of jazz subs though so there’s lots of places to start really. Can’t go wrong here In my opinion. One of my favorites

Its definitely good and a super chill listen but yeah it seems a lot simpler and kinda one note than a lot of his others.

I love this album. It’s very cinematic to me

Bumping this down, fw enough Miles not to pretend to care about it anymore. It *does* sound like a european arthouse OST (ironically Fellini came to mind first, but I'm sure plenty of Spanish directors would pair better), but not in a way that particularly endears it to me

Mmm yeah most of this feels so stiff and unspontaneous (even for third stream). Solea the only piece with an atmosphere that makes me want to bump up, easy highlight for me
