Just got this, and I actually like it a lot. It's closer to Mindcrime than any other album.

Damaged fucking rocks. The rest of the album is Queensryche chilling out. Although, the title track reaches Soiltude Aeturnus/Candlemass heights in its dark, doomy feeling.

The new one has some pretty nice songs, but PL belongs to a different league. The songwriting here is far superior, in my opinion.

Never liked this album when it came out i suppose i just expected empire mark ii which this is not and so there it lay for years untouched until recently and wow so diffrent love the mood a brooding album i think the production is great and i have not marked it yet cant make up my mind but im so glad i revisited it take the advice of the reviewer and give it another go it's worth it

Took a while to grow on me honestly, but years ago it kind of became my "theme album". Listened to it a TON when I finally decided to change my life around. Now the totem poll is tattooed down my spine.

It's better than the LaTorre album imo.
