Mob Rules starts off with Turn Up The Night which sounds similar to Neon Knights. This album however is more varied than Heaven and Hell as it recaptures some of the classic doom sound from the earlier records.

Dio, the voice of metal, gives another stunning performance. His incredible range, power, and control are a huge part of this record. Dio really shows his strength on the underrated track Country Girl.

Vinnie who replaces Bill Ward does a fine job of taking over the kit. Vinnie brings power and shows his chops with great fills on songs like Slipping Away and The Sign Of The Southern Cross.

Another huge plus of this record is the leads. Iommi shreds on this record more than any other. He makes great use of the wah-wah pedal on Slipping Away and the title track solo is superb.

Geezer's bass is more audible on this record than Heaven and Hell and he gives a strong performance as usual. There is a great little bass and guitar trade off on Slipping Away and his fills are excellent on Voodoo.

Every Black Sabbath title track has been incredible and this one is no exception. It's one of the best head banging metal songs out there.

To conclude this all I can say is... YOUR ALL FOOLS!!! THE MOB RULESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

Haha Fozzie this a pretty great album, but no way is this better than the majority of the Ozzy era.

But yeah Sign of the Southern Cross and Falling Off the Edge of the World are incredible.
