I saw these guys live last night in Atlanta and they were much better than I expected. They put on a great show and the blonde guitarist shook hands with everybody in the front including me (nice guys). I must say that I went to the concert to see Necrophagist who played before them. I believe Necrophagist is a far superior band. I prefer technical death metal over regular death metal.

I thought that Gothenburg styled metal was also considered melodic death metal. That's what I have always heard anyway.

They are not writing these songs for shock value, they are all huge fans of horror films, and they are just writing their one little short horror stories. They do not provoke these kind of behaviors at all, they have said that many of times. Plus Chris Barnes wrote the real disgusting ones while high. He is and was a huge pothead.

Have you guys seen the new chris barnes bobblehead. It's hilarious looking. You can get it through metal blade if you preorder commandment by Six Feet Under. I like Chris's vocals on Butchered at Births better than his vocals on totm even though the vocals on totm are great.

i like TOTM better because their deeper but Butcherd At Birth are close second with vocals on The Bleeding being not so good
