you really shouldn't compare a great song to a drug, we're trying to not enforce drugs on people. it's not cool, it just phucks you up.

QOTSA are great, haven't got this yet though.

well even when your rating is quite fair, the review on every song doesnt cuz u may have not catch the real intention behind'em , cuz saying that monster in your parasol, is the simpliest and less serious song is wrong and base your theory upon the video makes it even a bigger error.(this as an example)

You cant really know if a lyric or a song is a joke, even though it sounds weird or whatever, is like baby appeal from the Red Hots, that song is about babies, lil tots that rock out on their songs, and kiedis based the idea when he saw lil babes dancing on their songs even when the parents didnt liked it.Someone by first glance may think is about the appeal they have on girls, but it isnt.

That name and lyrics could be misunderstood but when you get to the facts u get it, so much of the lyrics on this album may be inner jokes, stories or whatever worked on metaphor.

so be it ;)This Message Edited On 02.02.09

I used to think Songs for the Deaf was a lot better than this, but now they are equally awesome in my mind. A strong 4/5

good, concise reviewing imo. right on with better living through chemistry also; that one may be the best hard rock song created in the 21st century
