The Giant Swan is reallyy good. When I saw them live on the 15th they played the new stuff really well, they know what songs are good from the album because they did not disappoint with any song I didn't not want to hear.



The first 4 songs, vital beach, giant swan, nasuea, and lift the veil (instore perfomance).

51 minutes is a pretty generous release for a band of this type. I've heard lots of good about this album, I shall pick it up. Nice review.

To be really honest, so far I do not like or enjoy it nearly as much as I did with Burn Piano Island and Crimes. It just does not catch me the way the other two did. Maybe it just needs some more time to sink in though, who knows

I have one question. What past Blood Brothers album is similar to this one? I hope it sounds nothing like Crimes.

No, it's more along the lines of Burn, Piano Island, Burn.

I've been listening to this alot lately actually, it's really growing on me. The "Stevie Ray..." song is really good. So are "Vital Beach" and "Spit Shine Your Black Cloud."

thats awesome i planned on not getting this album because in an interview a few months back they said they were going to write an even lighter album than crimes. but burn piano island is a pretty good cd. im gonna check this out.

ive come to like this album more than crimes. its definitely just as chaotic as it should be. i love that its so goddam long too.

yeah this album is pretty much fantastic..just like all of their other ones.i admit it isn't as chaotic as their first one let alone it isn't as heavy as burn piano but still it is mere perfection.i'm going to make my kids listen to this.

This is probably now my favorite album by BB, their older work really grew off me for some reason. Its a shame that they broke up because they picked a pretty terrible time, the band was really just blooming which is obvious listening to this record.
