yeah i'm surprised how popular this is on here, i'd never even heard of The Zombies before I decided to investigate some more psychadelic rock. true gem, nonetheless

it's just cool you immediately latched onto this, it's one of the few albums that had to grow on me, in a Suicide kinda way though
|

is it good?

It's very good, read the review ;)

I've found this easier then some psych, namely Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band. These kind of pop tunes are pretty easy to enjoy at first in comparison.

Listening to Butcher's Tale as we speak, it's probably my favourite track off here.

I second Rocketman, 'Hung up on a Dream' is one of my favorites on the album, the combination of the opening piano with the ending vocal harmonies sends up shivers.
Really great review - it got me to look into the album, and it's certainly an incredible one.

I randomly heard Beechwood Park on the local UC college radio station one night, and the song struck me as really catchy.
That is when I knew I had to check these guys out pronto.
