Haven't been big into black metal for a while but I recall enjoying Rare Field Ceiling quite a bit. Listening to this now and the first thing that's great about this group is how warm their albums sound. It's something about the way the drums are tuned and how the recordings are captured. Vocals sound like they're coming from another room sort of like Krallice tended to do on their albums. You migrate it to the back of the mix and add some echo to bring out that cavernous type sound.
