I can’t believe how good this is, a glorious comeback, I really thought we wouldn’t get another top tier death cab album ever again. 2026 so far has been an incredible year for music

This isn’t a bad album, but there’s just something about it that’s a little too close for adult contemporary/coffee shop for me to get into it.
I do enjoy a few tracks and it’s a pleasant listen. Just one of those “not for me” things.
I’ve never been too into death cab though, aside from some of We have the facts, all of Photo Album and Transatlanticism and some of Plans.

Yeah I can admittedly be somewhat limited in the diversity of my musical tastes. Like earlier Death Cab is cool, but there’s later stuff just doesn’t jive with me.
