Highly recommend the back to back experience. This is a step above LINE for me but they’re both in the same ballpark.

That bit from It Only Gets Worse all the way through It's Not Up To Us is the best Converge in well over a decade

I just find it odd this band tried to separate this completely from love is not enough, yet everything about it is clearly a sequel and recorded within the same sessions. Each album 10 songs, 33 min length and both have an instrumental song very similar in structure.
The good thing is this fucks and I think goes harder in places.

NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO JUDGE ME
Yeah, two for two. Legendary band. This fucking rips and might be even better than LINE.

This fucks me backwards, upside-down and inside out. The fucking I'm receiving from this is like a sentient, british sounding lobster being boiled alive. It's like I'm on the moon and my asshole is perineum sunning towards Earth and Nasa, SpaceX and Blue w.e the fuck are competing to full on slam straight into my receiving cavity.

Oh hey "I Won't Let You Go" is the song they did for Cyberpunk 2077. Nice.

On my second listen and I think this record is more of what I wanted from LINE. LINE was all chunky metallic riffs whereas this album has more of those melodic noodle riffs. Gonna need like 50 more listens to compare

Dream Debris is a standout for sure. I'm not sure if it is because I'm a parent, but I find the combined effect of it's music + lyrics pretty harrowing

I already loved the original I Won’t Let You Go, but this version is even better. Absolutely loving the album! Might even prefer it to LiNE… We’ll see

Personally, I think whilst both albums are excellent, this edges it as being slightly superior.

I wanted it to be perfect for my first time jamming it, getting some good kava together, my cbd thc vape came in today… and good god this thing is fucking BLEAK. I already thought Love is Not Enough was their most depressing album yet but they already topped that inside of 4 months…
I remember hearing one of them (probably Ben) say they’ve got something like 27 songs. So 1. I’m wondering if that included I Won’t Let You Go, I loved the original and I gotta say I think I like this version even more. A bit more raw and sounds closer to, idk, them if that makes sense. And also 2. I winder nah there gonna go with Michener tracks they have leftover. I don’t expect a third LP inside of a fucking year (but I would be so fucking mine with being wrong there), BUT a Beautiful Ruin style EP wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest. In face I’m actually kind of expecting in. Most bands would save those songs for a future project but I’m honestly extorting Bloodmoon II next and also these guys ain’t getting any younger…

make me forget you is the best song on both albums
