Obviously your not too keen on prog if you prefer 2 minute songs about losing a girlfriend over a 16 minute epic and display of real talent through amazing bass and guitar work, as well as small percussion and sound manipulation.
At least the 2min songs about losing a girl is catchier than 16 minutes of masturbatory self-indulgence and repetition
YOUR FAVORITE GENRE IS PUNK, ofcourse you find them boring cuz you are too retarded to get into prog so you listen to 3 chord riffs and screeching vocals about high school.
if you think that is what punk is about than you are sorry mistaken and flat out wrong.
That statment is additionally painful considering TMV stemmed from punk in the first place.
half of these critics with negative reviews don't even listen to prog or experimental, so who the **** are you to bash something you don't like in the first place, go back to your **** punk and metal, your too slow to make something as perfect as tmv anyway.
So you're not allow to say if you don't like something. Bullshit. You seem to have absolutely no problem in ripping on punk and metal you self-righteous moron.

"Once again, the band drags out a decent song too long, and end up making their own songs collapse upon themselves."
Couldnt agree more. Found myself agreeing with you a lot about generalizations of the band. I think I did find more out of this album than you did though because it was more interesting than Frances in my opinion.

ArsNova's ratings are all 4.5's and 5's. And they're all Mars Volta, Radiohead, and Porcupine Tree albums. I think he's more that a little biased.
I think someday in the future, Omar's gonna come out and say this band was all just a joke...
