fuck you’re totally right man

i actually do wonder how many mainstream music publications use ai for reviews now. as a writer i like to compare and the amount of shockingly lazy and poorly written reviews at big publications is pretty shocking. most reviews from sput are leagues above in terms of quality.

Probably a lot use it somewhere along the process. My major problem with AI, aside from it being an economic bubble, destroying the environment, etcetc, is that it's easy to spot and once you use it, AI detectors will always be able to identify it. There was a story about an opinion piece recently in a major newspaper and they ran it through a detector which detected AI usage. That's not a good look, but the author didn't even use AI, someone else they asked to edit the piece lightly used AI to organize or something, but even that flagged the detector.
