Oh dang, it looks like Willy Tea Taylor is doing a southern UK tour in June too. I know some folks are from across the pond, and that would be a fun show.

This is the kind of country I can really get down with.

Damn and the whole album just got pulled from streaming. My completely baseless speculation (that's probably correct) is that Island sent him a nasty little breakup letter.

God I’m so pissed. Was gonna listen to this while mowing the lawn today. You can imagine my disappointment.

It's definitely perfect lawn mowing music. Idk what's going on but hopefully it gets resolved soon.

Listened to the Ram one instead but it's not quite as good is it

Justice for Clovis! [2]
Age of the Ram is decent but this definitely blows it out of the water. I'd say Waco, Hard Times and Dollar are probably the next best bets, but I still like this one the most.

Honestly I just listened to Waco for the first time yesterday and like hot damn it's so much better than most of his recent stuff that I already moderately enjoyed.

It's another killer album from him for sure. Eventually I want to snag a copy on vinyl. I have Dollar A Day on wax so I'll throw that on when I need some Crockett in my life haha

I think if I had to rank everything I've gotten to so far I'd go:
1. Welcome to Hard Times
2. Clovis
3. Music City USA
4. $10 Cowboy
5. Dollar a Day
6. The Valley
7. The Man From Waco
8. Lonesome Drifter
9. Age of the Ram
But really I need to relisten to 6-9 more, it's been awhile for some of them, especially The Man From Waco.

Solid ranking with Hard Times and Clovis, I think the title track for Hard Times is definitely top 5 Crockett songs and the whole album slaps. Might do another discog run too while waiting for Clovis to come back hah!

Alright it's still available for purchase at qobuzz. Just snagged a digital copy for like $13 but if you go that route, make sure to download it ASAP because it looks like it'll get pulled from there too as evidenced by a big warning that says as much.
