It's honestly really good. Metal is quite big here, especially here in the south. I live near Tilburg, so a lot of my favourite bands play close to home. Also some yearly metal festivals are nearby. I don't follow local bands that much, but I think the country still produces good acts with quite some musical creativity. I fear that concerts becoming more and more expensive does hurt some of that though.
