You could argue it is his best album. Everything that was wrong from Educated Horses - last album are resolved on this album. His lyricism is at its best. The sound and energy are the best he has had since the turn of the century. I love that he went with a simple name for an album (The Great Satan) and the songs aren’t 20 words long for titles either. The chemistry and energy missing from the last twenty years randomly show up on this album. It is his heaviest album since Hellbelly and a headbanging treat.
