Will do bro.

If I had a nickel for every time I've discovered an absolutely immense modern two-piece black/death band on Sputnik, I would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Check the split with Dream Unending and the Bluenothing EP as well. They're all relatively different, but all are essential.

I appreciate variety. Seems there's a good binge on the way.

Their second album, Gloomlord, rules also. Its a more cavernous death/doom sound with worse production, but it still slays. The debut is even a decent traditional bm album.

As much as I loved Foreverglade (and Sea of Sorrow), I really didn't like the direction the band was heading in. Haven't given this a listen yet, but I don't think its gonna be for me.

If you didn't like the direction they were going in, chances are you are correct and it won't be for you, but never hurts to give it a try!

feels like they've taken all the early dimmu bridges, overextended them + some keys. totally boring imo.

Surprised how much I like this. Remembered them just being a regular death doom band before but this necro vampyric black/death/doom with epic heavy metal leads is a great look.

I mean its really good and its on my constant rotation this week but Foreverglade def shits all over this in terms of crushing, horrifying atmosphere imo, this ones a little more cartoonish

This one DOES feel more grandiose but not as genuinely disgusting

That riff like five and a half minutes into hall of the weeping has me headbanging even when I’m not listening to it though lol
