>« Unclereich » Name checks out. Dude’s chastising people for rejoicing at Epstein’s death lmao
I see you had to edit this multiple times because no one knows what the hell you're saying. Nowhere am I gatekeeping people's reactions to Epstein’s death. Although I think there’s a nonzero chance he’s alive, the way the government claims he died seems far too easy a way out for what may be one of the most evil entities in modern American history. That whole situation seems like a poor example to use as something anyone should find happiness in.
Either way, finding satisfaction in the death of a truly evil subhuman like Epstein, Hitler, or insert politician here, is far different from the reactions towards Brad that I've seen on the net. When your first gut response to the news of a second-rate, barely relevant musician’s untimely death from cancer is to log into your tenuously active, dying music site account to celebrate it because he had different views than you, idk, call me crazy, but that doesn’t seem like the hallmark of a joyous human being. Though I don’t expect someone named "Pooter9000" to understand nuance.

how ironic it is that people like brad celebrated the death of others while he was alive, and we find ourselves here arguing whether or not it's ok to do it ourselves -- not that anyone here can be seen celebrating
|
| |
you seem to know a lot more about him than anyone else here which is also ironic considering you have said on multiple occasions you find his soul wicked enough to elicit prayer lol
|
| |
i can only go by what he chose to share
also, not how the word 'ironic' works

Jaded and cynical as I am now a part of me still believes there’s no benefit in celebrating the death of others (reprehensible as they may have been in life).
There’s a lot to be mad at in today’s world and I’ll be the first to say that I despise the foreign interest-led American war machine (and to an extent myself for benefitting from it) but if I were to channel that vitriol into my every thought and feeling it would drive me into the ground long before it would my enemy.

i thought we were making comments on a website. when did we start channeling things? i wanna channel turning into a sick ass race car
also i don't see much celebrating. most people seem to be talking about the positives they had and others are sharing their negative, mostly dismissive opinion. except hobblepot, they seem to be on a different level. but i also can understand how one could reach that point and don't automatically label them as vile or terrible because they typed some words on the internet

oh also i think 3 doors down is kinda mid tbh
|
| |
i don't recommend thinking about the negative 24/7 either. celebrate the good!
|
| |
>also, not how the word 'ironic' works
if you don’t see the irony in someone hating a celebrity so much that they know more about them than any of those doing the opposite here, i think you might need a refresher on the definition of 'irony.' i’ll pray for you though, it looks like this whole thing has you pretty upset!
|

"celebrate the good!"
Literally never seen you do this

asdfp takes a specific joy in tormenting people who have cancer living (me) or dead. subhuman degenerate.
|

thoughts and prayers to him though that he finds some respite from caring so deeply about those he hates to the point of knowing their every belief and commenting ad nauseam on their behalf.

naw fuck this guy. don't support fascists and people will not celebrate your death, I don't know what to tell you.
|
| |
He got cancer, supported someone that cut funding to cancer research, then died of said cancer. Ill pray for you mr. Uncle, so that you one day can too appreciate how funny and absurd that really is.

If we had leftist moderators 75% of the userbase would have been perma'd by now

I think most people acknowledge the circumstances of his passing is really sad. Like, seriously, no one should wake up one day to discover they have stage IV inoperable terminal cancer with less than a year to live even with treatment. Yeah, that reality sucks.
But when you lionize him with a 5.0 rating (even under the guise of "tribute"), it indirectly gives off this vibe that you gotta celebrate the man and handwave the immense character flaws. Wait til Anthony Kiedis dies and we'll be having the same conversation.
|
| |
The idea behind someone’s death is you respect their passing and look at the positives, not the negatives, of someone’s character. It’s a tribute review, people need to chill tfo.
Genuinely gross seeing some of the takes here.

The idea behind someone's death is that they die and aren't concerned by the talk. As if thrashing a dead man was worse than thrashing a living one. Let's look at 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘩 the positives and the negatives.
