“ awesome while it's on, nothing stays in memory afterwards.”
Basically the perfect description. I really liked “let there be shred” but i cannot remember how it goes, even tho i’ve heard it 5 times.

I don't know...his voice no longer has the punch like he used to, it is cringe inducing which does get in the way of listening to the rest of what this album has to offer. Feels like standard Megadeth riffing and random solos.

"Mustaine and Friedman are equal lead-wise"
Couldn't disagree more on this. The solos that Friedman has played Mustaine can only dream of...

I would accept that if Mustaine was writing the solos in the studio and then handed them off to the lead guitar player to reproduce, that is not uncommon in bands of such caliber. In any other case, I would urge you to show me examples of Mustaine's solos that are actually better/more proficient, or better written than Friedman's.

Aren't Holy Wars and Wake Up Dead solos written by Mustaine?
Those are still my 2 favourite Megadeth solos. As to what makes something more proficient or better, i know people love Tornado of Souls. But i prefer those 2.
