Vocals here are fantastic yes.

Was just coming here to say that Stefan de Graef has quickly become one of my favorite metal vocalists. His work on this and last year's Hippotraktor is amazing.

Finally got around to revving this album up the other night, and some of the riffs here are absolutely massive. The bass work is so enjoyable. Great record all around. I can't tell yet if this tops VCR for me yet, but with more listens it just might.

This and the new Astronoid are two extremely late contenders for favorite prog adjacent albums this year. Both of them were barely on my radar before release, so it's awesome they turned out so good.

Yeah, new Astronoid kicks ass. Such a nice surprise after their last album, that one sucks HARD.

Yeah, another spin convinced me--got the vinyl on the way now lol. Love supporting these guys and the awesome music they make.

Spun it again and can't remember a thing. Unfold is fantastic though, so I will persevere.

I think for me so far their records are providing diminishing returns but there's definitely plenty to love in all 3.

Godman is still their best tbh

I think I'm finally landing on a solid 4 for this record, which matches my ratings for their other works. So much greatness to be had here, brought down only a bit by a few clumsy riffs (Stargazer in particular). It's a beautiful album as a whole, though.

very nice album to throw on casually. lacks standout moments but it’s very smooth and pleasant. endless currents, searing light and stargazer are my faves

Awww man you gotta check "You Are the Sky..." through "And You Came With Searing Light" again... shit absolutely ascends.

This is the stuff
very ambient-y and immersive. They sound like a somewhat more mellow version of Night Verses and with vocals. great album

Holy moly. How did I miss this? Another gem from arguably my favorite record company: Pelagic. What a great album. Mostly flawless. I love the post + prog mixture. I have been playing this non stop for weeks now. Excellent review and thanks.
