"The singles were solid and the rest of the album is a snooze fest."

Nocturnal Remedy is another good one. But yeah, most of this is really forgettable. The Living Dead and Soulburn are both pretty useless. Meet the Reaper is doesn't really need to exist as Forgotten Ghost is basically just a better version of it.

Rory's voice is so good I don't think one if his projects capable of anything truly awful. Repetitive, derivative, forgettable, sure. But awful? C'mon now. Did Rory steal your girlfriend?

Pale Moonlight is stupid catchy but I wish they would've continued with fine balance of Sleeptalk instead leaning too heavily into the poppier aspects / vibes based sounds of that record

I totally agree. They really nailed that sweet spot on Sleeptalk. That album and sound is the whole reason I started following those guys.

Agreed, although Dark Sun was pretty nice as well. This seems quite lackluster.

I really enjoy the first 6 tracks of Dark Sun but then its quality starts to drop off imo (but it never gets bad).
