I've had like 3-4 different favorite songs on this, the songwriting is so good.

I'm a big sucker for synthwave so that was an immediate highlight for me

"And much in the same way that Twelve Foot Ninja blended genre-bending heaviness with a wink and a smile, Vianova have effortlessly slid into the vacuum created by that band’s dissolution, and they are sprinting with the torch."

You've piqued my curiosity. Review makes this sound like like Destrage (RIP :[ )

Sitar that's another really good comparison. Thematically these guys and Destrage are similar in that they are obviously having fun while playing technically advanced tunes, but to put it bluntly, this is djenty and TFN was djenty so its a simpler comparison lol

Oh No (Believer) has become the stand out track on this, just so fun and versatile

It's like Twelve Foot Ninja's sound mixed with Destrage's sensibilities

I just played a random song on their Spotify most played, idk if I liked it or not but I did not need to be that personally called out by what I thought would be a dumb song called Mas Rapido this early on a fucking Sunday

yeah I’ll def give the whole thing a shot for sure, especially since there haven’t been a ton of good -core records this year

I posted a few in the dying wish thread. There have been a bunch of solid releases this year

Right on man I’ll check some of those out!

Idk I guess it’s just more that I’ve had a few bands really disappoint me. Greyhaven is really the only metalcore record that I was looking forward to that I ended up loving.

The new Employed to Serve record just straight up pisses me off and put some stink on the entire year when I try to think about it. And then theres the insanely mid Dying Wish one, ugh
