def feels like a style you really connect with or just don't care for. i just love those classic metal riffs in a more aggressive setting.

Yeah, some of the riffs here are certainly stellar. What drags this down for me is the vocals. Just not really my cup of tea.

They do vocals in the same way as Argho, which means kind of high in the mix and a bit dry sounding growls and screams, in my opinion. It's kind of distinct.

really dig the black metal shrieks they added. works so well in the sound and are vicious as hell. hope they go more in that direction in the future. adds so much dynamics to the sound.

@Deathconscious Really dig the style of vocals on the old school melodeath albums, like In Flames and Dark Tranquillity. Not sure what they called but the shouty death growls, I suppose. Never been big on the deep gutturals, just sounds really eh to me.

it's kinda funny how much of their sound they took, you're right Zac even the vocals are identical lol
I think, just like the last album this is lacking a bit of oomph. maybe it's the production or maybe the riffs don't have me making that stank face like Arghoslent did sometimes
