first listen, this is fantastic, a lot less subdued than anticipated - it sounds like an implosion

Pretty accurate I'd say. Especially considering the theme is human destruction of the planet.

Green to gold really grew on me. Excited to listen to this one
Im sad Hospice at 10: Live in Chicago isnt on spotify. Its excellent and to my ears sounds better than the studio album does. Its on bandcamp streaming at least if anyones interested

Still giving this a daily listen, really good...Hospice, Green to Gold and this one are my top three but I'd find it hard to rank them. Probably Hospice just about holds onto top spot.
'Burst Apart' was a big album at the time for me though, so feel I'm being harsh on that one.

Personal preference but I found G2G pretty middling and unremarkable, it just didn't click with me and I've only returned to it once or twice in the ensuing years.
This, however, completely floored me on first listen. I'm absolutely in love. First song blew me away and then every one of the next 5 or so songs were even better lol pretty sure I said to my partner out loud "THEY CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT" after about track 4

@tinathefatlard - you're in for a treat if you haven't heard Hospice before
Seeing a lot of people here say Green to Gold was better than I remember it being. It was the only Album of theirs I couldn't really get behind. This album is a pretty welcome surprise to me though I like it a lot even on first listen. May have to re-listen to GtG

Listening to this and G2G in the same 24 hours…G2G is definitely better.
Title track and Volunteer are both stronger than any songs here.
This is still great though.
